Breaking records, the Vande Bharat Express embarks on its longest route, stretching from New Delhi to Patna. This 994-kilometer journey surpasses its predecessor, the New Delhi-Varanasi service, showcasing the commitment of Indian Railways to offer unparalleled connectivity.
Bookings Open for a Seamless Experience
Embark on a journey of comfort and speed as bookings for this special service opened on October 31, 2023. Numbered 02252/02251, the train will complete six round trips between New Delhi and Patna, promising a swift and enjoyable ride for passengers.

While the current Vande Bharat trains provide comfortable seating arrangements, Indian Railways has set its sights on enhancing long-distance travel. Plans are underway to introduce sleeper versions of the Vande Bharat Express within this financial year, marking a significant leap forward in train travel comfort.
Chhath Specials and Fare Details
In line with the festive spirit, special trains are also scheduled for Azamgarh, Katihar, and Saharsa. The New Delhi-Patna train will depart at 7:25 AM on November 11, 14, and 16, reaching Patna by 7 PM the same day. The return journey from Patna begins at 7:30 AM on November 12, 15, and 17, arriving in New Delhi by 7 PM.
