Vande Bharat Express: Dehradun to Lucknow Route Set for Super Speed Service

Indian Railways has unveiled plans to regularize the operation of the Vande Bharat Express between Dehradun and Lucknow, offering commuters a fast and efficient travel option starting March 26th, 2023.

Key Highlights of the Vande Bharat Express’ Journey:

  • Regular Operations Date: Commencing from March 26th, 2023, the Vande Bharat Express will provide regular service between Dehradun and Lucknow, promoting seamless connectivity.
  • Frequency: With operations six days a week, except on Mondays, passengers can rely on the Vande Bharat Express for their travel needs with predictable schedules.
  • Booking Commencement: Online reservations for the Vande Bharat Express will open from March 20th, facilitating hassle-free booking experiences for passengers.
  • Trial Run: Following a successful trial run on March 12th, the Vande Bharat Express is poised to transition into regular operations, ensuring reliability and efficiency.
  • Timings and Stops: The train will depart from Lucknow at 5:15 AM, making stops at Bareilly, Moradabad, Haridwar, and finally reaching Dehradun at 1:35 PM. The return journey from Dehradun will commence at 2:45 PM, concluding in Lucknow at 10:40 PM, with intermediate stops at Haridwar, Moradabad, and Bareilly.
  • Coach Composition: Equipped with eight coaches, the Vande Bharat Express offers ample seating capacity to accommodate passengers comfortably.
