UTS App: The Preferred Choice for 2 Crore Railway Passengers

In a significant shift towards digital convenience, the Pune Railway Division has urged passengers to embrace the UTS Mobile App for booking unreserved train tickets. This call comes as the division celebrates a remarkable milestone, with over 2.07 crore passengers opting for the app in the month of October alone.

The Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) of Pune, through the official X handle, emphasized the importance of saving time and avoiding long queues by utilizing the UTS Mobile App. The app caters to both suburban and non-suburban travelers, allowing ticket purchases within a 20-kilometer radius of non-suburban stations and a 10-kilometer radius of suburban stations.

Downloading the UTS app is not only a time-saver but also a cost-effective solution, as it eliminates the need for printed tickets. The app is compatible with smartphones running Android, iOS, and Windows operating systems, and it can be downloaded free of charge.

The user-friendly UTS app boasts several key features aimed at enhancing the passenger experience. Multi-language support ensures accessibility for a diverse range of users, while cashless transactions contribute to a seamless and secure payment process. Additionally, the app includes a dedicated help tab that offers various forms of customer support.

Passengers can make payments through different digital modes, including the R-Wallet, UPIs, and internet banking, providing a range of options to suit individual preferences. As the Pune Railway Division continues to champion digital initiatives, the success of the UTS Mobile App marks a transformative step in simplifying the ticketing process for millions of railway travelers.
