Mumbai, August 22nd, 2023: In a distressing turn of events, a passenger aboard an Indigo flight traveling from Mumbai to Ranchi lost his life shortly after vomiting blood. The shocking incident prompted the aircraft to execute an emergency landing at Nagpur’s Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport.
According to available information, the unfortunate incident occurred on Monday evening when the passenger, on board an Indigo flight destined for Ranchi, started vomiting blood. The flight crew promptly notified the pilot about the situation, prompting the pilot to take swift action. Recognizing the gravity of the situation, the pilot made the decision to initiate an emergency landing at Nagpur.
Upon landing, medical personnel took charge of the situation, immediately transporting the affected passenger to Nagpur Government Medical College for urgent medical attention. However, despite their efforts, medical professionals on-site declared the passenger deceased.
The incident involved Indigo Flight 6E 5093, en route from Mumbai to Ranchi, which was diverted to Nagpur due to the critical medical emergency on board. While the passenger who had vomited blood received prompt medical care at the hospital, his condition deteriorated rapidly, leading to his unfortunate demise.
At present, the exact cause of the passenger’s passing remains under investigation, and conclusive details are expected to emerge following the completion of a post-mortem examination.
