In a tragic turn of events, the Pune-Danapur Express train and its counterpart, the Danapur-Pune Express, have been diverted due to a train derailment at the Raghunathpur Railway Station in the Danapur division. This devastating incident occurred at 9:53 am on a fateful Wednesday, resulting in the loss of at least four lives and leaving over 50 individuals injured.

The Diverted Trains of PUNE Division:
- 12149 PUNE-DNR Express (Journey Commencing On 10th October 2023) via DDU-SSM-ARA: To ensure passenger safety and restore train services, the Pune-Danapur Express has been rerouted via the DDU-SSM-ARA route.
- 12150 DNR-PUNE Express (Journeys Commencing On 11th & 12th October 2023) via ARA-SSM-DDU: Passengers on the Danapur-Pune Express will experience a change in their routes as this train is diverted through ARA-SSM-DDU.
The railway authorities have yet to release further notifications regarding the diversion or cancellation of additional trains.
