Ram Mandir Consecration: PM Modi Envisions New Heights for India’s Heritage and Development

In anticipation of the grand opening of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed confidence that the historic consecration ceremony would significantly contribute to enriching Indian heritage and culture, propelling the country’s development journey to unprecedented heights. The Prime Minister’s remarks were in response to a two-page letter from President Droupadi Murmu, praising the upcoming ‘Pran Pratishtha’ at the Ram temple.

Taking to X, Modi tagged the president’s letter and conveyed his gratitude, saying, “Honorable @rashtrapatibhvn ji, Thank you very much for your good wishes on the auspicious occasion of Ram Lalla’s consecration in Ayodhya Dham.”

In her letter, President Murmu expressed that the nationwide celebratory atmosphere surrounding the event is a free-spirited expression of India’s eternal soul, marking the beginning of a new cycle in the country’s resurgence. She complimented Prime Minister Modi for his role in the lead-up to the ‘Pran Pratishtha,’ acknowledging the significance of the occasion.

“As you prepare yourself to go for ‘Pran Pratishtha’ of Prabhu Shri Ram’s ‘murti’ (idol) at the new temple built at his birthplace in Ayodhya, I can only contemplate the unique civilisational journey that will be accomplished with each step taken by you in the hallowed precincts,” President Murmu wrote in her letter.

Referring to the 11-day rigorous ‘anushthan’ undertaken by the Prime Minister, Murmu described it not only as a sacred ritual but also as a supreme spiritual act of sacrifice and submission to Lord Ram. She expressed gratitude for being witnesses to the commencement of a new cycle in the resurgence of the nation.

As the nation eagerly awaits the historic event, Prime Minister Modi’s vision for the Ram Mandir’s consecration reflects a deep connection between cultural heritage and the trajectory of India’s development.
