The beneficiary of the Ujjwala Yojana, which provides LPG connections to women from below poverty line (BPL) families, Meera had the honor of being the tenth-crore beneficiary.
The Prime Minister engaged in a brief conversation, enjoyed a cup of tea prepared by Meera, and enquired about the well-being of her family and the entire colony. PM Modi expressed his satisfaction in knowing how government schemes have positively impacted the lives of Meera’s family.
In a post on social media, PM Modi shared, “Held a ‘chaai pe charchaa’ at the house of sister Meera ji, the 10th-crore beneficiary of Ujjwala Yojana, along with her family members in Ayodhya. I felt very satisfied to know how government schemes have made the life of the entire family easier.”
