PM Modi, who dominated headlines in 2023 and was India Today’s Newsmaker of the Year, explained in an exclusive interview India’s transformation from a country seeking a voice on multiple platforms to becoming a nation that creates new global platforms.

“Today, the world consensus is clear, this is India’s moment,” he told India Today.

From successfully hosting the G20 Summit to the brilliant touchdown on the moon by Chandrayan-3, India achieved several milestones in 2023.

“India’s rapid ascent in 2023 has been very important as it sets the tone for our journey to Viksit Bharat. We’ve unleashed the latent potential of our nation. In global forums, India’s presence and contributions are now sought after. From a country that used to feel left behind, we have become a country that is now leading from the front,” PM Modi said in his interview with India Today.

PM Modi on Saturday (December 30, 2023) inaugurated the revamped Ayodhya airport and railway station along with multiple other developmental projects worth more than Rs 15,000 crore ahead of the grand opening of the Ram Temple in the city on January 22.
