PM-KISAN 2024: Key Details on the Latest Rs 20,000 Crore Installment Release

The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme is a flagship initiative by the Indian government aimed at providing financial support to landholding farmers. Under this scheme, eligible farmers receive Rs 2,000 every four months, totaling Rs 6,000 annually. Since its inception, the government has released 16 installments, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to release the 17th installment, amounting to over Rs 20,000 crore, during his visit to Varanasi. This installment will benefit approximately 9.26 crore farmers across the country.
