In a coordinated effort to curb the activities of banned organizations, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has launched a series of raids spanning several states, with a particular focus on Uttar Pradesh. The search operation, which encompasses various cities in Delhi, Rajasthan, Punjab, and UP, is aimed at identifying and apprehending individuals associated with Khalistani and terrorist supporters linked to these outlawed groups.
Multiple locations in Delhi have become the epicenter of this ongoing search operation, as the NIA intensifies its efforts to disrupt the operations of these extremist factions. Uttar Pradesh, too, has come under the scanner, with two locations in the state, as well as one in Uttarakhand, currently undergoing thorough searches.
Emerging leads from Lakhimpur Kheri and Pilibhit have shed light on the financial networks supporting gangster groups and Khalistani terrorists. These discoveries have raised concerns about external actors seeking to foment unrest within India through various means, including supporting the Khalistan movement. Consequently, the NIA has extended its reach, conducting raids in six states across the nation to dismantle these networks and mitigate potential threats.
