KPSS celebrates Dasara in Kashmir Valley with Punit Balan’s help by spreading the message of communal amity

Kashmiri Pandit Sangharsh Samiti (KPSS) celebrated Dasara festival by spreading the message of unity and communal amity in the Kashmir Valley. During the festival, KPSS President Sanjay Tikku praised the efforts made by Punit Balan and thanked him for providing an effigy of Ravan and other logistics. Tickoo also thanked the local administration for its role in ensuring that the festival is celebrated without any restrictions.

People from various political parties and communities came together to celebrate the festival underlining the cultural diversity of the Valley. This has given a new dimension of peace and inclusiveness to the Valley.

The Dasara, which was celebrated in Kashmir this year, is important from all angles. Dasara, which denotes the victory of good over bad, is important against the background of social challenges in Kashmir.

What is special is during the programme, the unique bond between Kashmiri Pandits and Muslims was visible which underlines the fact brotherly ties are above religious differences. This highlights the strong foundation of the cultural diversity of Kashmir.
