The accident, involving a white Maruti Swift, claimed the life of Pankaj Tripathi’s brother-in-law, Rakesh Tiwari, while leaving his sister, Sarita, with severe injuries.

According to police reports, the tragic collision occurred when Rakesh Tiwari, the driver of the vehicle, lost control, resulting in a collision with a road divider. The harrowing crash, captured on CCTV footage, depicts the swift approach of the vehicle before the impact with the divider.
Immediate Response and Medical Care
Prompt bystanders rushed both Rakesh and Sarita to the hospital following the accident. Despite the efforts of medical personnel, Rakesh succumbed to his injuries upon arrival. Sarita, meanwhile, sustained multiple fractures and is currently undergoing treatment at the Shaheed Nirmal Mahato Medical College Hospital (SNMMCH) in Dhanbad.

The untimely demise of Rakesh Tiwari and the injuries sustained by Sarita cast a somber shadow over the family, particularly poignant given the recent loss of Pankaj Tripathi’s father, Pandit Banaras Tiwari, in August 2023 at the age of 99 in Gopalganj.
