The financial requirements for these transformative projects are substantial. Film digitization, a critical step in ensuring the long-term accessibility and preservation of cinematic treasures, costs approximately ₹2.66 lakh per film, assuming a standard duration of 120 minutes. Meanwhile, the meticulous and intricate process of film restoration, which breathes new life into deteriorating classics, commands an estimated expenditure of around ₹27.40 lakh per film.
