Jaipur’s Royal Rendezvous: Modi and Macron to Explore Iconic Tourist Spots on January 25

In a cultural convergence, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and French President Emmanuel Macron are set to explore the enchanting city of Jaipur, including its iconic landmarks such as Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal, and Albert Hall. The visit, scheduled for the evening of January 25, promises a blend of history, art, and hospitality.

The official tentative itinerary reveals that Macron and Modi will commence their tour with a guided visit to Jantar Mantar after the reception at 17:30, followed by a photo opportunity. The duo will then proceed to Hawa Mahal for another photo-op and visit at 18:00. At 18:30, a photo opportunity is scheduled in front of the Albert Hall Museum, adding to the cultural experience.

The French President is also expected to indulge in handicraft buying with UPI payments, and both leaders will enjoy a cup of tea from local vendors, making UPI payments within the walled city. To conclude the day, Macron will be hosted at a gala dinner held at the round table at Hotel Taj (Ram Bagh Palace).

Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, accompanied by top police and civil officers, conducted an inspection of the designated places, emphasizing the need for meticulous arrangements to ensure a memorable visit for the distinguished guests. There are indications that President Macron might participate in a roadshow from Tripolia Gate to Sanganeri Gate during his sightseeing expedition.
