Inside the Ram Mandir Construction: Addressing Allegations of Water Issues

In a recent development regarding the construction of the Ram Mandir, there have been clarifications provided by the Ram Mandir Construction Committee chairman regarding allegations of water leakage. The chairman has strongly dismissed these claims, emphasizing that they are unfounded and misleading.

The issue arose following statements made by Chief Priest Satyendra Das, who had raised concerns about water leakage within the premises of the Ram Mandir. His comments sparked various speculations and concerns among the public and media outlets.

Addressing these concerns, the chairman of the Ram Mandir Construction Committee stated, “I saw the rainwater dropping from the first floor. This is expected because Guru Mandap is exposed to the sky as the second floor and completion of Shikhar will cover this opening.” This statement underscores that any observed water issues are due to the current stage of construction and will be addressed as per the ongoing development plans.

Contextualizing the Construction Process

The ongoing construction of the Ram Mandir is a complex and meticulous process that involves various stages of development. At its current stage, certain areas of the structure, such as the Guru Mandap, remain exposed to the elements. This exposure is temporary, as subsequent phases of construction, particularly the completion of the Shikhar, will effectively seal these openings.

Chairman’s Rebuttal

The chairman further clarified that the observed rainwater was a result of the open structure and reiterated that it does not signify a structural flaw or permanent issue. Such temporary exposures are managed as part of the phased construction plan, ensuring that the integrity and longevity of the Ram Mandir are maintained throughout the process.
