Exclusive Entry: Only Invitees and On-Duty Officials Permitted in Ayodhya for Ram Temple Inauguration

As the much-anticipated consecration ceremony of the Ram temple approaches on January 22, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has issued stringent directives, allowing entry into Ayodhya solely for individuals with valid invitations from the Ram temple trust or those on official government duty.

During a review meeting held in Ayodhya on Thursday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath directed local officials to work closely with hotel owners in Ayodhya, urging them to prioritize reservations for those invited by the trust. Advance reservations made by others are to be canceled wherever possible.

In addition to the arrangements made by the Trust for pilgrims’ lodging in Ayodhya, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath emphasized the need for plans to accommodate pilgrims in Dharamshalas, hotels, and other establishments at predetermined prices. The entry into Ayodhya on January 22 will be restricted to individuals possessing invitation letters or those officially assigned government duties.

Observing potential management challenges on the day of the pran pratishthan ceremony, Yogi Adityanath highlighted the influx of 100 planes expected to land at Ayodhya airport and the attendance of special invitees from across India. To streamline the process and avoid any logistical issues, the Chief Minister emphasized the need to cancel reservations made by individuals not directly associated with the ceremony.

District Collector Nitish Kumar of Ayodhya reassured the public that they are diligently reviewing hotel reservations and cross-referencing them with the guest list. Any discrepancies will be addressed promptly to ensure a smooth and organized event.

As Ayodhya prepares for this historic occasion, the strict entry protocols underscore the significance of the Ram temple inauguration and the meticulous planning involved in facilitating a successful event.
