The chief priest, Acharya Satyendra Das, announced the commencement of the “anushthan,” a series of rituals invoking the blessings of various deities.

The elaborate schedule unveiled by the Trust outlines the meticulous preparations leading up to the consecration. Starting with “prayaschita” and “karmakuti poojan,” the rituals progress through various stages, culminating in the principal ceremony on January 22.

Trust general secretary Champat Rai highlighted the significance of these rituals, emphasizing their adherence to tradition and customs. Eleven dedicated priests are conducting the ceremonies, invoking the divine presence of “devis and devtas” with utmost devotion.

While the consecration rituals are a spiritual celebration, they are also a testament to the unity and devotion of the people involved. Ganeshwar Shastri Dravid oversees the proceedings, ensuring coordination and direction under the guidance of principal “acharya” Laxmikant Dixit Dixit of Kashi.

The Pran Pratishtha ceremony is a momentous occasion, with the Trust expecting widespread participation from devotees. The consecration is scheduled to commence at 12:20 pm on January 22, marking a historic milestone in the construction of the Ram Mandir.
