Breaking Barriers: Tripti Bhatt’s Journey from Rejecting Corporate Offers to Upholding Law and Order

In a world where corporate success often takes precedence, Tripti Bhatt’s story stands out as a beacon of unwavering determination and resilience. Hailing from Almora, Uttarakhand, her journey from rejecting 16 government job offers, including lucrative positions in renowned companies like Maruti Suzuki and Tata Motors, to becoming an IPS officer is nothing short of inspiring.

Tripti, the eldest of four siblings from an education-oriented family, completed her engineering and received multiple job offers. However, her heart remained steadfast on her dream of serving in law enforcement. Despite clearing six government exams, including ISRO, she chose to prioritize her passion over corporate allure.

An encounter with then-President Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam left an indelible mark on Tripti’s journey. Dr. Kalam’s handwritten letter, brimming with inspirational lines, became a constant source of motivation for her. In 2013, Tripti achieved a remarkable feat by securing the 165th rank in the UPSC exam on her first attempt, realizing her dream of becoming an IPS officer.

Tripti’s achievements extend beyond law enforcement, with gold medals in national-level marathons and state-level badminton tournaments, showcasing her diverse talents. Proficient in Taekwondo, she exemplifies a holistic approach to life.

Over the past 11 years, Tripti has accumulated a wealth of experience in various roles, including SP of Dehradun, MP Chamoli, commanding SDRF, and later SSP Tehri Garhwal. Currently serving as SP Intelligence and Security of Dehradun, she continues to inspire with her tenacity, breaking barriers, and paving the way for others to follow their dreams.
