BJP’s Ambitious Quest: Decoding the Master Plan to Regain 16 Lost Seats in UP for Lok Sabha 2024

In a bid to assert dominance in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has unveiled an ambitious plan to secure all 80 seats in Uttar Pradesh. Central to this strategy is the targeted approach to reclaim the 16 seats lost in the 2019 elections, showcasing the party’s determination for a comprehensive victory in the state.

The BJP’s comprehensive plan involves a meticulous candidate selection process, with a panel of three potential candidates identified for each of the 16 constituencies. Over the next few days, the party will scrutinize the strengths and weaknesses of these candidates, aiming to ensure the most effective lineup to achieve their ‘Mission 80.’

The 16 Targeted Seats:

  1. Moradabad
  2. Rampur
  3. Sambhal
  4. Amroha
  5. Nagina
  6. Bijnor
  7. Mainpuri
  8. Azamgarh
  9. Lalganj
  10. Mau (Ghosi)
  11. Ghazipur
  12. Jaunpur
  13. Ambedkarnagar
  14. Rae Bareli
  15. Shravasti
  16. Saharanpur

The BJP’s strategic focus extends to the booth level, with leaders and workers engaged in micro-management at the district level. District officials are spearheading local campaigns, emphasizing the need to strengthen the party’s presence at each booth. The objective is to increase the vote share in every assembly segment, ultimately securing victory in the Lok Sabha seats.

To ensure an impactful presence at the grassroots level, BJP leaders have instructed local workers to guarantee their candidate secures at least 51% of votes at every booth. This approach prioritizes active workers over inactive ones, reinforcing the party’s commitment to a robust ground-level campaign.

The announcement of candidates for the 16 targeted seats is anticipated after February 10, providing ample time for strategic campaigning and voter consolidation in their respective areas. This comprehensive plan underscores the BJP’s dedication to improving its electoral performance and expanding its influence in Uttar Pradesh during the crucial 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
