Ashwini Vaishnaw’s ‘Wow’ Moment: Vande Bharat Express Takes Center Stage

In the world of viral trends and social media sensations, even a seasoned politician like India’s Minister of Railways, Ashwini Vaishnaw, couldn’t resist the allure of the “looking like a wow” trend. This latest craze, initially sparked by Delhi boutique owner Jasmeen Kaur, involves showcasing fashionable outfits through livestreams and videos, with the catchy phrase “so beautiful, so elegant, just looking like a wow.”

Vaishnaw’s Innovative Take

While the “looking like a wow” trend may have its origins in fashion, Ashwini Vaishnaw gave it a unique twist by incorporating the iconic Vande Bharat Express. In a post that garnered attention across social media platforms, Vaishnaw shared a split image featuring two Vande Bharat Express trains and kept it simple with the caption, “Just looking like a WoW!”

A Glance at the Vande Bharat Express

For those unfamiliar with the Vande Bharat Express, it’s a revolutionary addition to India’s railway network. These semi-high-speed trains are celebrated for their contemporary design, high-speed capabilities, and enhanced passenger comfort. The introduction of Vande Bharat Express has significantly reduced travel times on key routes, making it a preferred choice for many.

The Vande Bharat Express connects 11 districts in Kerala, offering an efficient mode of transportation across the state. The train route includes stops at Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Kottayam, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Palakkad, Pathanamthitta, Malappuram, Kozhikode, Kannur, and Kasaragod. The successful launch of the first Vande Bharat Express in Kerala in April marked a pivotal moment in the state’s railway history.

Moreover, this remarkable journey didn’t stop at the inaugural launch. Just last month, Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw unveiled concept images of the sleeper version of the Vande Bharat Express, which is slated to become a reality by early 2024. This innovative addition to the Indian Railways fleet aims to provide passengers with a faster and more convenient means of traveling long distances overnight.

Enhanced Sleeper Trains

The Vande Bharat Express sleeper trains have been meticulously designed to reach a maximum speed of 160 kilometers per hour, ensuring swift and efficient travel. Each train comprises 16 spacious bogies, capable of accommodating up to 887 passengers. These coaches are equipped with a range of amenities, including wider berths, well-lit interiors, commodious restrooms, a compact pantry, and state-of-the-art safety features to ensure a safe and comfortable journey.

Apart from being convenient, the new sleeper trains are designed with an emphasis on energy efficiency and eco-friendliness, aligning with the government’s sustainable transportation goals. The coaches feature a classic wooden design, providing passengers with a warm and comfortable environment throughout their journey.

As the concept images of the Vande Bharat Express sleeper trains were shared on various platforms, it’s clear that this innovative addition is set to revolutionize overnight travel in India. The combination of speed, comfort, and eco-consciousness makes these trains a promising development in the country’s railway system.

Incorporating the “looking like a wow” trend into his announcement, Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has managed to draw even more attention to this exciting advancement in India’s rail network.
