Following the official launch, Samsung’s latest flagship phones are now available for pre-order in various markets. The company has also provided detailed information about the Exynos 2400 processor, which powers the Galaxy S24 and S24 Plus in most global markets, excluding the US and Canada.
It’s important to note that the Exynos 2400 was initially introduced in October 2023. However, Samsung has recently disclosed the specifications and features of the Exynos 2400 chip, serving as the central processing unit for the Galaxy S24 and S24 Plus smartphones.
Samsung’s Exynos 2400 boasts a 10-core CPU with a maximum frequency of 3.2 GHz. The processor includes one ultra-powerful Cortex-X4 core clocked at 3.2 GHz, two Cortex-A720 units running at 2.9 GHz, and three Cortex-A720 cores at 2.6 GHz. Additionally, there are four efficient Cortex-A520 cores operating at 2.0 GHz.

Moreover, this chipset delivers a 1.7x increase in CPU performance and a 14.7x boost in AI processing compared to its predecessor, the Exynos 2200. The AMD RDNA 3-based Xclipse 940 GPU provides enhanced support for mobile ray tracing, rendering, and reflections.
In addition, the new Exynos 2400 chipset is built on the 4nm LPP+ process by Samsung Semiconductor, with all cores based on the ARMv9 architecture. It features a new ISP, support for LPDDR5X RAM, and compatibility with UFS 4.0 storage.
