Weather Update: Rain Expected in Konkan, Goa, and Parts of Maharashtra

Pune, August 8 (UNI) The weather forecast predicts rain in various regions across Maharashtra in the next 24 hours. Rainfall is very likely at most places over Konkan and Goa, with a chance of rain at a few places over Madhya Maharashtra. Isolated areas over Marathwada and Vidarbha may also experience isolated instances of rain during this period.

Recent weather observations for the past 24 hours, recorded at 0830 Hrs, indicate the following temperature and rainfall data:

  • Kolhapur: Maximum temperature of 27°C, minimum temperature of 22°C, with 2 mm of rainfall in the past 24 hours. The total rainfall since June 1 stands at 511 mm, a deviation of -65 mm from the average.
  • Nashik: The maximum temperature recorded was 28°C, while the minimum temperature was 23°C. No rainfall was observed in the past 24 hours. Since June 1, Nashik has witnessed a total of 238 mm of rainfall, which is -194 mm less than the usual average.
  • Ratnagiri: The temperature ranged from a maximum of 30°C to a minimum of 26°C. No rainfall was observed in the past 24 hours. However, the total rainfall since June 1 has been 1851 mm, which is -155 mm from the usual average.
  • Solapur: With a maximum temperature of 32°C and a minimum of 22°C, Solapur received no rainfall in the past 24 hours. However, the total rainfall since June 1 has been 382 mm, which is +107 mm above the average.
  • Satara: The maximum temperature was recorded at 27°C, while the minimum was 22°C. The area received 2 mm of rainfall in the past 24 hours. The total rainfall since June 1 is 297 mm, a deviation of -216 mm from the average.
  • Sangli: The maximum temperature recorded was 29°C, and the minimum temperature was 22°C. No rainfall was observed in the past 24 hours. The total rainfall since June 1 stands at 244 mm, with a deviation of -32 mm from the average.
