Suicide In Pimpri

Solapur: In a shocking incident that sent ripples through the Solapur city police force, 35-year-old policeman Rahul Shirsath, currently stationed at the police commissioner’s bungalow, tragically ended his own life. The disheartening event unfolded at the Keshavnagar police colony, casting a sombre shadow over the entire police force in the city.

Rahul, who served as a guard at the commissioner’s residence, reportedly used an SLR rifle to take his own life at his residence in Keshav Nagar Police Colony. The incident occurred after Rahul, as per his routine, had completed his duty and did not return the rifle to the designated authorities. Unlike his usual practice, he took the rifle home that day.

The news of Rahul’s suicide prompted swift responses from both the Solapur city police force and the Solapur rural police force. Senior police officers and personnel from the Sadar Bazar Police Station rushed to the scene upon receiving the distressing information. Despite immediate medical attention at the government hospital, Rahul was declared dead by attending doctors.

The shocking sound of the rifle shot resonated through the Keshavnagar police colony, leaving the community in shock and mourning. The motive behind Rahul’s decision to take such a drastic step remains elusive, shrouding the incident in mystery.

As the police force grapples with the aftermath of this tragedy, questions linger about the circumstances leading to Rahul Shirsath’s untimely demise. Investigations are underway to uncover the factors that might have driven the Shirsath to take his life.
