The Shiv Sena, led by Uddhav Thackeray (UBT), has made a strategic decision to field Satyajeet Patil-Sarudkar as their candidate from Hatkanangale constituency, marking a departure from discussions with Swabhimani Shetkari Sanghatana leader Raju Shetti. Hatkanangle holds significance for the Sena UBT, having secured victory in 2019 with Dharyasheel Mane’s win over Shetti. However, Mane’s departure to Eknath Shinde’s faction left the Sena in search of a new candidate, despite Shetti seeking their support.
