Pune Real Estate Market

The consecration of the Ayodhya Ram temple idol has sparked a vibrant real estate boom in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra, with savvy builders and developers seizing the opportunity to entice homebuyers with unique offerings.

Key Highlights:

  1. Complimentary Air Travel to Ayodhya: One realtor, promoting 4 BHK row-houses in the Satara area, is making headlines by offering complimentary air travel to Ayodhya for buyers securing units on the day of the idol consecration. Despite the absence of direct flights from Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar to Ayodhya, eligible homebuyers can break their journey in Delhi, with the realtor covering the estimated fare ranging from Rs 10,000 to 15,000.
  2. Stamp Duty Waiver for City Flats: Another real estate agent within the city is attracting buyers with a promise of a stamp duty waiver for bookings made on the auspicious day of the Ram Lalla’s idol consecration. The usual stamp duty, typically around 7% of the total property cost during registration, will be completely waived.
  3. Credai President’s Perspective: Vikas Chaudhary, president of the local chapter of the Confederation of Real Estate Developers Associations of India (Credai), highlighted that some builders and developers are leveraging the occasion to attract buyers, drawing parallels to festive schemes offered during major celebrations like Diwali and Gudi Padwa.
  4. Temple Celebrations and Security Measures: Approximately 196 temples in various parts of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar and its surroundings have organized diverse religious events for January 22. Enhanced security measures, including police personnel, drone cameras, home guards, and special forces, are being deployed for the safety of the devotees.
  5. Special Bronze Idols Import: A merchants’ group from the Bhande Galli area has imported special bronze idols of Lord Ram, Sita, Lakshman, and Hanuman from Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, adding a unique touch to the grand celebrations planned for Monday.

The Ayodhya celebrations are not only a cultural and religious extravaganza but have also become a catalyst for the real estate market in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, with builders offering unprecedented incentives to prospective homebuyers.
