The Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) has officially unveiled the schedule for the Maharashtra Gazetted Civil Services Combined Preliminary Examination 2024, slated to be held on April 27. Covering 37 district centres across the state, this examination will be a crucial step for aspirants eyeing 274 posts in various cadres.
The application process for the Maharashtra Gazetted Civil Services Combined Preliminary Examination 2024 will commence on January 5 and conclude on January 25. Aspiring candidates can apply for 205 posts in the State Service Cadre (General Administration Department), 26 posts in the Maharashtra Civil Service Engineering Service Cadre (Soil and Water Conservation Department), and 43 posts in the Maharashtra Forest Service Cadre (Revenue and Forest Department).
Applicants have until January 25 to submit their applications, with the option of online fee payment. The deadline for currency-based fee payment is January 29.
The MPSC has also disclosed the schedule for the Main Examinations:
- MPSC Main Examination 2024: December 14 to 16, 2024
- Maharashtra Civil Service Engineering Service Main Examination 2024: November 23
- Maharashtra Forest Service Main Examination 2024: December 28 to 31
MPSC emphasizes that any changes in the number of posts and reservations will be incorporated into the main examination notification. Until the finalization of the preliminary examination result, all posts received by the government through revised or additional requisitions will be considered for the preliminary examination result.
