Star Air Company Launches Direct Flight Route, Enhancing Connectivity Between Kolhapur and Tirupati
Passengers traveling between Kolhapur and Tirupati have reason to rejoice as the direct flight service between the two cities has resumed. After a previous attempt by a private passenger airline, Star Air Company has taken the initiative to restart the much-awaited flight service, bringing convenience and efficiency to travelers.
The Kolhapur to Tirupati flights are scheduled three days a week, operating on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. Departing from Kolhapur Airport at 11 am, the flight arrives in Tirupati at 12 pm. The return journey from Tirupati commences at 12.35 pm, reaching Kolhapur at 1.45 pm on the same day.
Nandkumar Gurav, Manager of Star Air Company, expressed satisfaction with the response from travelers, noting that 80% of the bookings for April have already been completed. Anil Shinde, Director of Kolhapur Airport, emphasized the significance of this flight service, highlighting its potential to meet the demands of passengers and possibly expand in the future based on passenger feedback.
Aditya Mohite, a resident of Kolhapur, shared his excitement about the direct flight service, stating that it will provide added convenience for those visiting Tirupati for darshan at the Balaji temple, replacing the need for train travel.
