In Determined Stride: Rohit Pawar’s ‘Yuva Sangharsh Yatra’ Restarted

NCP (Sharad Pawar faction) MLA Rohit Pawar has recommenced his ‘Yuva Sangharsh Yatra’ following a brief suspension caused by the Maratha reservation protests in Maharashtra. The yatra, initially launched on October 24, has now resumed its journey from Chaundi in Ahmednagar district, aiming to address a range of issues concerning the state’s youth.

Revised Schedule and Anticipated Conclusion in Nagpur

Under the revised schedule, the ‘Yuva Sangharsh Yatra’ is expected to conclude on December 10 in Nagpur. The yatra, covering 800 kilometers across 13 districts over 45 days, was temporarily halted on October 31 to express solidarity with the state amid the unrest triggered by Maratha quota activist Manoj Jarange’s fast-unto-death.

A significant event is anticipated on December 11 in Nagpur, likely to witness the presence of NCP supremo Sharad Pawar.

Focus on Youth Issues

The primary objective of the yatra remains addressing various concerns affecting the state’s youth. These include government exam paper leaks, instances of corruption, pending teacher vacancies, advocacy for a dedicated youth commission, and support for innovative young farmers.

Emotional Moment and Resumption Pictures

Rohit Pawar shared an emotional moment on X (formerly Twitter) when his sister, Saitai Pawar, applied tilak on his forehead, wishing him luck for the journey. The resumption of the ‘Yuva Sangharsh Yatra’ from Chaundi on Friday morning was marked by pictures shared by Pawar, reaffirming the purpose of the journey. He urged people to join the yatra as it progresses towards Nagpur during the winter session to address the challenges faced by the youth.
