Amravati, August 9, 2023: Central Railway’s New Amravati station has reached a significant historic milestone by becoming the first station within the Bhusaval Division and the third station in the expansive Central Railway network to be designated as a ‘Pink Station,’ a distinct honor that underscores its exclusive management by an all-women staff. The inauguration of New Amravati station as a ‘Pink Station’ follows the footsteps of Matunga station on the Mumbai division and Ajni station on the Nagpur division.

Distinguished by its pink-themed identity, New Amravati station, with its entire staff roster composed of women, proudly welcomes a daily influx of approximately 380 passengers.
