With the onset of the monsoon season, Central Railway has made adjustments to its passenger services along the picturesque Neral-Matheran Narrow Gauge line. The regular passenger services between Neral and Aman Lodge are slated to be temporarily suspended from June 8, 2024, to October 15, 2024.
However, in a bid to ensure continued connectivity and convenience for travelers, Central Railway will operate shuttle services between Matheran and Aman Lodge during this period. The shuttle services will adhere to a predefined schedule to facilitate smooth commuting for passengers.
Matheran-Aman Lodge Shuttle Schedule
The shuttle services between Matheran and Aman Lodge will be operational daily, featuring multiple departures throughout the day. Passengers can avail themselves of these services at the following timings:
- Morning Departures: Departing from Matheran at 08:20, 09:10, and 11:35 hours, among others.
- Afternoon Departures: Departing from Matheran at 14:00, 15:15, and 17:20 hours, with additional services on Saturdays and Sundays.
- Special Weekend Services: Catering to weekend travelers, special shuttle services will operate on Saturdays and Sundays, providing added flexibility for commuters.
Aman Lodge-Matheran Shuttle Schedule
For the return journey from Aman Lodge to Matheran, shuttle services will be available daily, ensuring seamless travel for passengers. The schedule includes departures at convenient intervals throughout the day, accommodating varying travel preferences.
- Morning Departures: Departing from Aman Lodge at 08:45, 09:35, and 12:00 hours, with additional services on weekends.
- Afternoon Departures: Departing from Aman Lodge at 14:25, 15:40, and 17:45 hours, with special weekend services.
All shuttle services will be equipped with three second-class coaches, one first-class coach, and two second-class cum luggage vans, ensuring comfort and convenience for passengers.
