RBI Assistant Exam 2023: Central Bank Releases Notification for 450 Vacancies

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has officially announced the commencement of the Assistant recruitment exam for the year 2023. The highly anticipated notification for the RBI Assistant Exam 2023 was unveiled on Wednesday, 13th September 2023. According to the notification issued by the central bank, this year’s examination aims to fill 450 coveted positions within the organization. Among these, 241 positions are open for unreserved candidates, while 71 have been earmarked for OBC candidates, 37 for EWS candidates, 45 for SC candidates, and 56 for ST candidates.

To be eligible, candidates must possess a graduate degree with a minimum of 50 percent marks from a recognized university or higher education institution. Additionally, candidates’ age should not be less than 18 years and should not exceed 28 years as of September 20, 2023.

The application process for the recruitment of assistants by the RBI has been initiated. Prospective candidates who aspire to participate in this recruitment examination can access the RBI Assistant Exam 2023 Notification PDF through the active link available in the recruitment section on the official website of the bank, rbi.org.in. Applicants can submit their applications through the designated application portal.

As part of the application process, candidates will be required to pay an examination fee of Rs 450. For candidates belonging to reserved categories, the fee has been reduced to Rs 50, in line with government regulations.
