Swiss Economy Minister Guy Parmelin announced the breakthrough following his meeting with Indian counterpart Piyush Goyal, which took place immediately after the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. In a late Saturday post on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Parmelin expressed the significant progress made during the discussions and the positive implications of the agreement. “This deal will not only foster economic growth but also pave the way for job creation, particularly benefiting the vibrant youth population in India, while ensuring employment stability in Switzerland,” Parmelin stated in an interview with the Swiss newspaper Sonntagszeitung.
