Nikki Haley Asserts: A Female President in 2024, Either Me or Kamala Harris

Former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley, an Indian-American Republican presidential hopeful, has expressed her commitment to seeing a female president in the United States in 2024, declaring that it will either be herself or Vice President Kamala Harris taking the top position.

Haley, currently trailing behind former President Donald Trump in the primaries and polls, emphasized the need for a fresh, new leader, citing concerns about the age of both Trump and President Joe Biden. In an interview with CNN, she pointed out that more than half of Americans are reluctant to see either Trump or Biden back in the presidential office due to their advancing years.

“The whole reason I am running is I don’t think Trump should be the president. The whole reason I am running is I don’t think Biden should be president either,” Haley stated during the interview, highlighting the necessity for a candidate who focuses on the American people rather than personal interests.

The 52-year-old politician underscored the importance of a candidate capable of putting in eight years of dedicated work. She suggested that a political party willing to move away from older candidates would have a better chance of winning the presidency.

“There will be a female president of the US. It will be either me or Kamala Harris,” she confidently asserted, adding that Kamala Harris wouldn’t be president if the Republicans nominated Trump.

Haley’s comments come ahead of the Republican primary on February 24 in her home state of South Carolina, where she served as governor. She also emphasized the need for a new generational leader who is not distracted by legal issues, alluding to Trump’s ongoing legal challenges.

“I am not stopping. I am not going anywhere. We are going to do this for the long haul, and we are going to finish it,” Haley declared, expressing her determination to pursue the presidency.
