Elon Musk and Netanyahu Unite: Advocating the Dismantling of Hamas

Tel Aviv, November 27 – In an unexpected alliance of minds, Elon Musk and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu took to ‘X’ (formerly Twitter) on Monday, expressing a shared conviction that dismantling the Hamas terror group is the only path to a brighter future for Gaza. Musk concurs with Netanyahu’s assertion that Hamas harbors genocidal intentions toward the Jewish people, stating that there is “no choice” but to eradicate the organization.

US billionaire Musk, renowned as the owner of X and the visionary leader of SpaceX, went beyond mere agreement with Netanyahu’s stance. While expressing a willingness to contribute to the reconstruction of Gaza post-current conflict, Musk underscored the pivotal role of rehabilitating the Gaza Strip in preventing future hostilities, as reported by The Times of Israel.

“If you want security, peace, and a better life for Gazans, then you need to destroy Hamas. You first have to get rid of the poisonous regime, as was done in Germany and Japan,” Netanyahu emphasized. In response, Musk asserted, “There’s no choice.”

Addressing the inevitable civilian casualties, Musk acknowledged their unavoidability and commended Israel’s efforts to minimize them in the ongoing conflict with Hamas. He advocated for a dual strategy of firmness against terrorists while concurrently aiding the remaining population, drawing parallels to the reconstruction efforts in post-World War II Germany and Japan.

“Usually the victor punishes the loser,” Musk continued, highlighting the historical examples of Germany and Japan’s rehabilitation by the Allies after World War II. He pointed to these instances as evidence that comprehensive reconstruction initiatives following significant conflicts and decisive victories can contribute to long-term peace.
