After 6 months, solid foods are introduced while continuing breastfeeding. Dry fruits and nuts can be introduced at this age. Complementary foods are necessary to support physical growth and rapid brain growth, especially in the first 2 years of life.”

Around 8 to 10 months, as your baby becomes comfortable with various fruits and vegetables, you can gradually introduce small amounts of finely chopped and soaked dried fruits. Always consult your pediatrician before adding new foods to your baby’s diet.

Precautions and Safety Measures: Dr. Prabhu emphasizes the importance of caution and gradual introduction due to potential allergies or choking hazards. Some babies may be allergic to certain nuts, so it’s wise to introduce them one at a time in small quantities. To prevent choking, avoid offering whole nuts initially.
