This inaugural tournament is part of a three-year partnership between Level Infinite and the Esports World Cup Foundation, promising fierce competition and a substantial $3,000,000 USD prize pool.
Slot Allocation: PMWC 2024 is set to showcase the prowess of the world’s top PUBG Mobile players, with 24 teams from various regions securing invitations to compete in the tournament. The slot allocation breakdown is as follows:
- Five teams from Southeast Asia
- Four teams from Central and South Asia
- Four teams from EMEA (Europe, the Middle East, and Africa)
- Three teams from The Americas
- Two teams from China
- One team each from South Korea and Japan
- Winner of PUBG MOBILE Rivals Cup (PMRC) Korea vs Japan
- Winner of PMGO 2024
- Two additional teams receiving special invites
Tournament Format: The tournament unfolds in two stages, beginning with the Group Stage, where all 24 teams will engage in intense battles. The top twelve teams from this stage will directly qualify for the Main Stage Event. Simultaneously, the remaining teams will enter the Survival Stage, facing off against each other and four teams invited from the PUBG MOBILE Super League (PMSL).
