Amorphous Materials serve as the foundation for crafting Ultimate weapons within The First Descendant. They are also a prerequisite for the creation of new Descendants, such as the enigmatic Bunny. While there are currently 13 distinct types of Amorphous Materials known in the game, there are two primary methods to efficiently gather them:
1. Resource Defense Missions: These missions task you with eliminating waves of adversaries as you progress towards the final wave. Time is of the essence here, as there’s a countdown to contend with. Successful completion of these missions rewards you with valuable Amorphous Materials.
2. Mine Blocking Missions: These missions entail battling through multiple waves of monsters, culminating in a showdown with a formidable commander. Once you’ve triumphed over all the waves, you will receive a generous allocation of Amorphous Materials as a reward.
Perusing the main reward list of each mission may also reveal Amorphous Materials as potential loot. However, Resource Defense and Mine Blocking Missions consistently yield the most significant quantities of these crafting resources.
Having accumulated an ample supply of Amorphous Materials, your next step is to engage with Anais at the Kingston headquarters. Within the interface, select “Research Request” to access a list of items available for research. This includes weapons and Descendants, each necessitating specific crafting materials. Submit the required components for your desired research, and periodically return to verify if your research has concluded. Once completed, the newly crafted item will be added to your inventory.
