Xbox Game Pass Core, Microsoft’s replacement for the Xbox Live Gold subscription plan, is gearing up to offer a diverse array of titles at once. Differing from Live Gold, Game Pass Core introduces a rotating library of numerous games rather than monthly offerings. Microsoft has now unveiled the first batch of games on offer.
The list comprises 36 titles that will soon be available on Game Pass Core for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. Here’s a sneak peek at some of the games:

Microsoft has also outlined its plan to refresh the Game Pass Core library 2-3 times annually. Further details on upcoming games will be available on the official Game Pass page.
The company has clarified that Game Pass Core will offer the same perks as Xbox Live Gold, with pricing remaining unchanged. Those who have already purchased redeemable Live Gold cards from retail stores can use them to access a Game Pass Core subscription.
“Game Pass Core will continue to provide the benefits you had with Xbox Live Gold, including the ability to play together with online multiplayer, deals and discounts (up to 50 percent off select games!), and access to Free Play Days for select fully featured games. All of that is the same,” the blog post affirmed.
The transition from Gold to Core is seamless, and no action is required to modify payments or membership details. Xbox Live Gold cards available in retail stores will continue to be valid for Game Pass Core redemption, while supplies last.
