Savitribai Phule Pune University’s Tribute to Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam through Innovation Exhibition

Pune, 18th October 2023: The remarkable Science Technology Innovation Exhibition at Savitribai Phule Pune University, hosted by the Research Park Foundation on ‘Innovation Day 2023,’ showcased an impressive array of innovative projects and activities from students at GH Raisoni College of Engineering and Management. The exhibition not only celebrated innovation but also marked the birth anniversary of the esteemed former President and renowned scientist, Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam.

This exceptional event featured a display of pioneering projects, including the Smart Health Monitoring System, a Plasma-based agricultural weed plant cutter, and the Kavach Hackathon-winning projects, all set up by GH Raisoni College of Engineering and Management.

The exhibition garnered the attention of esteemed dignitaries, including Dr. Parag Kalkar, Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Savitribai Phule Pune University, and Dr. Arvind Shaligram, CEO of the Research Park Foundation, both of whom visited the exhibition.

Throughout the day, the event served as a platform for experts in the fields of science, technology, and business to discuss and present the latest developments in their respective domains. The exhibition aimed to make these exciting concepts in science and technology accessible to all who wished to explore and discover the advancements in these fields.

A diverse audience of attendees from various backgrounds, eager to gain insights into the ever-evolving worlds of science and industry, flocked to the exhibition. Students and visitors were treated to a captivating array of cutting-edge innovations and insightful discussions.

Prominent attendees, including Dr. Swapnil Mahajan, Head of the Innovation and Incubation Project at GH Raisoni College of Engineering and Management, and Dr. Asha Shendge, Associate Dean of the Research and Development Department, joined the students in showcasing their pioneering projects. Dr. Ravindra Kharadkar, Campus Director at G. H. Raisoni College of Engineering and Management, provided motivation and encouragement to the participating students.

Sunil Raisoni, Chairman of GH Raisoni Group of Institutions, and Shreyash Raisoni, Executive Director of GH Raisoni Group of Institutions, extended their congratulations to the students.
