New Delhi Set to Host P20 Summit on October 13: A G20 Parliamentary Speakers Gathering

In an eagerly awaited development, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla has officially confirmed that the P20 (G20 Parliamentary Speakers Summit) is set to convene in New Delhi. The much-anticipated summit is scheduled for a grand inauguration on October 13, with the Prime Minister gracing the occasion.

The P20 Summit is expected to witness the participation of a distinguished assembly, comprising 50 Members of Parliament and 14 General Secretaries. This eminent group includes 26 Speakers, 10 Deputy Speakers, one Committee Chairman, and the President of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU). Notably, the event will also mark a historic moment as it welcomes the President of the Pan African Parliament, who will be attending the P20 gathering in India for the very first time.
