In an eagerly awaited development, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla has officially confirmed that the P20 (G20 Parliamentary Speakers Summit) is set to convene in New Delhi. The much-anticipated summit is scheduled for a grand inauguration on October 13, with the Prime Minister gracing the occasion.

This eminent group includes 26 Speakers, 10 Deputy Speakers, one Committee Chairman, and the President of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU). Notably, the event will also mark a historic moment as it welcomes the President of the Pan African Parliament, who will be attending the P20 gathering in India for the very first time.
