In a rare and captivating musical event, Mazda Hall in Pune is gearing up to host two distinguished pianists on Sunday, February 25, 2024, at 6:30 pm. The audience is in for a treat as the accomplished artists will grace the stage, delivering a mesmerizing performance on two Grand pianos.
The program features the original version of Ravel’s Bolero for two pianos, as envisioned by the composer, and Debussy’s Petite Suite for Piano 4 hands. Alongside these masterpieces, the repertoire includes unique arrangements of orchestral overtures and movements from symphonies, skillfully adapted for both Piano 4 hands and two pianos.
Marialena Fernandes and Ranko Marković, long-standing piano duet partners, bring a wealth of experience to the stage. Having performed and recorded a diverse range of standard and unconventional repertoire in Europe, the duo promises an evening of musical brilliance.
