Pune recently dazzled under the glimmering lights of recognition as the Shalini Foundation presented the prestigious Maharashtra Ratna Gaurav Award ceremony, an evening that celebrated outstanding contributions across diverse fields.
The coveted Maharashtra Ratna Gaurav Puraskar, conferred by the Shalini Foundation, was bestowed upon several luminaries, recognizing their exceptional achievements and noteworthy roles in society. Among the distinguished awardees were Professor Prabhat Ranjan, Vice-Chancellor of DY Patil International University, Inspector General of Police J D Supekar, Political Advisor to Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and BJP Spokesperson for Maharashtra, Shweta Shalini, Amitej Priyadarshi of Blessed One Foundation, Senior Actor Vijay Patkar, Bigg Boss Winner Shiv Thackeray, Famous TV actor Shivani Sonar, Entrepreneur Sachin and Sahil Garg, Social Activist Umesh Shah, Entrepreneur S S Tiwari, Kaushik Mehta, Ajit Singh Rajpal, Comedian Sunil Sahil, Data Science and Artificial Intelligence expert Dr. Sanjeev Choubey, Rahul Shirsat, Builder Anil Bangadia, and others from Marathi Hindi movies and serials.
The Royal Connaught Boat Club served as the backdrop for this star-studded affair, where Akhil Bharatiya Chitrpat Maha Mandal Chairman Meghraj Raje Bhosle, Municipal Chief Audit Officer Ambarish Galinde, and Senior Income Tax Officer Shekhar Pawar presented the awards.
