Gurugram : BMW Motorrad, the leading luxury motorcycle manufacturer, has officially initiated its highly anticipated GS Experience Level 1, 2024 training program in India. This immersive two-day event is designed to provide BMW GS series owners with an exclusive opportunity to delve into the exceptional capabilities of their adventure motorcycles, perfectly tailored to navigate the diverse terrains of India.
Vikram Pawah, President of BMW Group India, emphasized the transformative nature of the GS Experience, stating, “The GS is not just a motorcycle; it’s a beacon of adventure. The GS Experience Level 1 training program will be conducted in 13 cities, including Pune, Surat, Mumbai, Kolkata, Indore, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Chennai, Lucknow, Kochi, Bengaluru, New Delhi, and Chandigarh. Guided by certified trainers from the BMW Motorrad International Instructor Academy, participants will unlock the full potential of their GS motorcycles and enhance their adventure riding skills.
Day 1 of the program is tailored for owners of 650 cc and above GS bikes, focusing on mastering the basics of off-road riding. Day 2 is dedicated to BMW 310 GS riders, offering specialized training to enhance their riding proficiency. The comprehensive curriculum includes motorcycle familiarity, correct rider positioning, enduro steering, and practical exercises such as off-road riding, emergency stops on slopes, emergency braking, and riding on inclines. Successful completion of Level 1 automatically qualifies riders for Level 2 training.
The GS Experience ensures a dynamic showcase of each GS model’s qualities in real-world conditions. BMW Motorrad IIA-certified trainers will provide briefings and demonstrations, guiding participants through the advanced technologies available on the GS range. Sessions will incorporate both on-road and off-road experiences, ensuring riders can fully embrace the Spirit of GS with the highest safety standards.
