In continuation of its rich cultural legacy, Aagomoni Prabasi Sangha is all set to host a spectacular Kali Puja celebration, promising an enchanting blend of tradition, spirituality, and community engagement. The socio-cultural powerhouse, known for its grand Durga Puja festivities, is now gearing up to honor the formidable goddess Kali with unprecedented grandeur.

In the Spirit of Tradition:

Originating in the 16th century, Kali Puja, also known as Shyama Puja or Mahanisha Puja, pays homage to the goddess Kali. Devotees believe that worshiping the Ma Kali blue idol brings protection and courage, seeking divine blessings to overcome life’s challenges. Aagomoni Prabasi Sangha, under the leadership of General Secretary Rajesh Burman, is dedicated to preserving this tradition and vibrant culture.

Midnight Vigil and Empowerment:

A unique feature of Kali Puja is its midnight observance, symbolizing courage and empowerment for the devotees. The organization aims to uphold this tradition, showcasing unwavering dedication to cultural, sporting, literary, and charitable pursuits.

Key Highlights of the Celebration:

  1. Cultural Activities and Competitions: The festivities kick off at 8 pm, featuring cultural activities and engaging competitions.
  2. Maha Kali Pujo: Starting at 10:36 pm, Maha Kali Pujo includes Pushpanjali, symbolic Balidan (chal kumro), 108 Pradeep Prajwallan, and Maha Joggo (Hawan).
  3. Balidan and 108 Pradip Projolan: Scheduled for 1:53 am, these sacred rituals add to the spiritual fervor of the night.
  4. Ample Parking and Devotee Offerings: Adequate parking space is provided for attendees, and Khichuri Bhog Prasad, a traditional offering, is freely distributed to all devotees.
