In the midst of swirling divorce rumors, popular television actress Dalljiet Kaur and her businessman-husband Nikhil Patel have recently unfollowed each other on Instagram, sparking speculation about the state of their relationship.
The signs of trouble had already begun when Dalljiet dropped Nikhil’s surname and wiped all traces of him from her Instagram profile. Similarly, Nikhil has removed all pictures of the actress from his account. While no official confirmation has been made by the couple, their recent Instagram activities suggest that all might not be well in their marriage.
Adding to the intrigue, Nikhil has made changes to his Instagram bio, which originally read ‘girl-boy dad’ and now simply states ‘girl dad.’ Notably, he had added ‘son’ to his bio after tying the knot with Dalljiet, who has a son named Jaydon from her previous marriage to TV actor Shalin Bhanot.
Complicating matters, Nikhil has a daughter from his own prior marriage. On February 10, Dalljiet’s team issued a statement shedding light on her current situation: “Dalljiet and Jaydon are in India currently for Dalljiet’s dad’s surgery to be followed by her maa’s surgery, which requires her to be beside them.”
The statement urged privacy amid ongoing speculations and emphasized that Dalljiet would refrain from making further comments at the moment, particularly for the sake of her children. “Dalljiet at the moment would not like to make any further comments on anything because kids are in the picture. Please respect her kid’s privacy, and please consider this as the only statement she would like to give out,” the statement concluded.
Dalljiet Kaur is renowned for her performances in TV series such as ‘Kulvaddhu,’ ‘Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon,’ and ‘Kaala Teeka.’
