Step into the Pokémon Resort: Netflix’s Pokémon Concierge Trailer Sparks Excitement

Netflix, in collaboration with The Pokémon Company and dwarf studios (known for Rilakkuma and Kaoru), has unveiled the official trailer for its upcoming stop-motion animated series, “Pokémon Concierge.” The series promises to enchant viewers with its captivating visuals and follows Haru, a new staff member at a Pokémon resort, on her adventures with beloved Pokémon creatures.

The trailer showcases the meticulous stop-motion animation work, offering a glimpse into the magical world of Pokémon Concierge. The stunning visuals and charming interactions between Haru and the fan-favorite Pokémon are sure to captivate audiences of all ages.

Voiced by Karen Fukuhara, known for her role as Kimiko in “The Boys,” Haru’s character brings a fresh perspective to the Pokémon universe. The English dub voice cast also includes Imani Hakim, Josh Keaton, and Lori Alan, adding depth and personality to the characters.

For those who prefer the original Japanese version, the voice actors include Non, Fairouz Ai, Eita Okuno, and Yoshiko Takemura. The series boasts a talented team, with Harumi Doki as the writer, Iku Ogawa as the director, and Tadahiro Uesugi handling character designs and concept art. The main theme song, “Have a Good Time Here,” is performed by Mariya Takeuchi, a popular Japanese city pop artist.

“Pokémon Concierge” is set to consist of four episodes, each lasting between 12-20 minutes. The entire series will be available for streaming on Netflix starting December 28, 2023, offering a delightful way to wrap up the year with the magic of Pokémon.
