Salaar Release Trailer Unveils Epic Action: Prabhas Vows to Turn Khansaar Red to Save Prithviraj

With just four days remaining until its release, the makers of Salaar, featuring Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran, have launched the gripping Salaar Release Trailer. Directed by Prashanth Neel, this action-packed spectacle is set to clash with Shah Rukh Khan and Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki at the box office.

The three-minute-long Salaar Release Trailer teases an unprecedented action extravaganza, showcasing blood, fire, swords, guns, and missiles. The storyline unfolds in the fictional empire of Khansaar, where Deva (Prabhas) pledges to turn the war-torn city red—either with blazing fire or the blood of his loyal childhood friend Varadha Raja Mannar (Prithviraj). The plot thickens as crime lords unite to overthrow Varadha’s kingdom. However, the trailer hints at a twist, revealing that Varadha and Deva, once inseparable friends, have transformed into arch-enemies, setting the stage for an ultimate war in Salaar Part 2.

Scheduled for release on December 22, Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire is highly anticipated, marking the first collaboration between Prabhas, the lead of the Baahubali films, and Prashanth Neel, director of the blockbuster KGF franchise. The star-studded cast includes Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Tinnu Anand, and Bobby Simha in crucial roles.

The Prabhas-starrer, initially set for a September 28 release, will hit theaters with a pan-India release in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada languages. Advance bookings have already soared, with tickets worth Rs 4.2 crore sold for the opening day across India, according to industry tracker Sacnilk.

Salaar’s box office clash with Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki, an emotional drama directed by Rajkumar Hirani, adds an extra layer of excitement. Scheduled for release on December 21, Dunki, starring Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Boman Irani, Vikram Kochar, and Anil Grover, marks SRK’s third release of the year following the successes of Jawan and Pathaan.
