Rajinikanth’s Ride Down Memory Lane: Poses with Paayum Puli’s Iconic Bike After 40 Years

In a heartwarming trip back to the golden era of Tamil cinema, Rajinikanth, the legendary actor, paid a visit to the AVM Heritage Museum in Chennai, where the iconic Suzuki RV 90 from his 1983 action drama Paayum Puli resides. The retro bike, affectionately known as VanVan, captured the hearts of audiences in Europe and Tamil Nadu, becoming a symbol of the film’s enduring legacy.

A Glimpse of Rajinikanth’s Movie Memorabilia:

During his visit, Rajinikanth posed with the Suzuki RV 90, recreating the magic that fans cherished on the silver screen over four decades ago. The AVM Heritage Museum, inaugurated in 2023, is a treasure trove of memorabilia from 177 films produced by AVM Productions, including cameras, filming tools, sets, costumes, and props. Fans can explore the rich history of Tamil cinema through this extensive collection.

Earlier, the actor also shared moments with his leather jacket from another film, Manithan, famous for its distinctive design featuring perfectly round grenades. Aruna Guhan, partner and creative director of AVM Productions, shared a video clip inviting fans to immerse themselves in the history of costumes from AVM’s celebrated productions.

Rajinikanth’s Current Endeavors:

While relishing the nostalgia of his cinematic journey, Rajinikanth is currently immersed in the filming of his upcoming project Vettaiyan, directed by TJ Gnanvel. The movie boasts an ensemble cast including Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, Dushara Vijayan, and Ritika Singh. The actor’s dynamic schedule involves constant travel across India for the shoot.

Following Vettaiyan, Rajinikanth is set to collaborate with director Lokesh Kanagaraj for a film tentatively titled Thalaivar 171. Recent reports suggest a possible cameo in producer Sajid Nadiadwala’s upcoming project, rumored to be Sourav Ganguly’s biopic directed by Rajinikanth’s daughter, Soundarya.
