Pune: Mayuri Chaitanya Modak-Pawar, a prominent social media influencer known as ‘Mau’ with over 1.3 million followers on Instagram, has been missing since June 15. The 26-year-old, who resides in Sadashiv Peth with her mother, first gained fame on TikTok before transitioning to Instagram after the app was banned in India.
Mayuri, who also runs a clothing business under the ‘Durga Group’, left her home around 7 pm on June 15, leaving behind a troubling note hinting at suicidal thoughts. Her family, deeply concerned about her sudden disappearance, filed a missing persons report at Vishrambaug police station.
The police are actively searching for her to ensure her safety and well-being. The circumstances of her departure and the contents of her note have raised significant concern among her followers and the social media community.
