Annabhau Sathe Short Film Festival Gears Up for its Sixth Edition: A Celebration of Cinematic Excellence

As the cultural calendar approaches its year-end crescendo, Pune is gearing up for the sixth edition of the prestigious Annabhau Sathe Short Film Festival. Organized collaboratively by the Annabhau Sathe Short Film Festival Committee and BARTI (Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Research Training Institute), this annual cinematic extravaganza is set to captivate audiences on December 27 and 28.

The festival stands as a tribute to Annabhau Sathe, an influential figure in the cultural landscape, and aims to showcase compelling cinematic creations that echo his legacy. Over the years, the festival has become a beacon for filmmakers and enthusiasts alike, drawing attention to the rich cultural heritage of Pune.

The inauguration ceremony, scheduled for 10 am on December 27 at TheBox Theater, will witness the esteemed presence of director and producer Gargi Kulkarni. Notable actors, including Tanaji Galgunde from the acclaimed film “Sairat,” will add star power to the opening event.

The festival organizers, including Ritesh Randhir, Vishal Dhurdhavle, Suraj Ramteke, Praveen Bhange, and Snehal Chavhan, extend a warm invitation to Punekars, urging them to be a part of this cinematic journey.
